In order for this to happen your people must be well fed, have enough resources and have access to various diplomatic options. In Age Of Empires III you can recruit from four different cultures: The Western Feudal/British Empire, the Central Asian Nomadic Alliance, The East Asian Warring States or The Far East Feudal/Han Dynasty. Each culture has its own unique advantages and disadvantages over one another. Features: Age of Empires III was met with generally positive reviews upon release. GameRankings and Metacritic gave it a score of 80.86% and 80 out of 100 for the PC version; for the Game Boy Advance version, they gave it a 70.26% for the PlayStation 2, a 84.57% on the GBA SP, 81 out of 100 for the PSP version and 80 out of 100 on the Nintendo DS. GameSpot gave above 8. 5 out of 10 praising the game's graphics, performance and the playability. It also gave above 9.3 saying that "if you can accept that this game is about building an empire, not about shooting people in the face, then your enjoyment may be greater than mine". GameSpot gave it 8 out of 10 praising its gameplay and massive multiplayer content (if any) but criticizing the game's plot and one-sidedness in multiplayer games. They also praised that it is hard to play against other players because "you don't know where they are".
